Is the Leica 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH a Fast Lens or a Landscape Lens?

Yes.

Leica 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH

And the same considerations apply to the fast Nikon and Canon prime lenses.

Shooting the Leica 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH as a landscape lens makes sense: it might be the best 50mm lens I’ve ever used by f/4 - f/5.6, perhaps even slightly superior to the 50/1.4 Summilux in that aperture range.

And yet the 50/0.95 Noctilux offers the versatility of f/0.95 when needed, along with a rendition quite different from that of the 50/1.4 Summilux.

Just added to my Guide and Review of the Leica M9 in DAP is a page of landscape examples with the Leica M9 and 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M ASPH.
