Fuji X10 — Smaller Sibling to X100
See yesterday’s comments on the X100.
Fuji has announced the 12-megapixel X10 with a 2/3" sensor and an unsually fast f/2.0 (!) - f/2.8 28-112mm (equivalent) zoom lens that looks to offer exceptionally high optical quality, judging from the MTF chart and design details. Wow!
Also sporting a 460K pixel 2.8" LCD and a bright optical viewfinder, it lacks the EVF of the X100, which is a reasonable if regrettable compromise.
I look forward to seeing the X10 perform. Fuji is on a roll, and Canon and Leica and Olympus and Panasonic should be looking over their shoulders in this space. I would certainly like to see an X200 with a full-frame sensor next.
