Compared: Leica 21/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH vs Leica 21/3.4 Super-Elmar-M ASPH (Water Tank)

Leica 21/1.4 vs 21/3.4

Just published in my Guide to Leica is a third comparison of the Leica 21/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH vs the Leica 21/3.4 Super-Elmar-M ASPH.

I’m never happy doing just one comparison; it’s too risky in terms of making erroneous findings. This 3rd comparison confirms my conclusions of the first comparison and second comparison.

Gabi from Marienfield Germany apparently feels the need to deface (illegally) this tank, on the south part of West Side Road in Death Valley. Rusty and old it is, but it’s a federal offense (in a National Park, it’s illegal even to pick up a rock and take it home). But it makes for some nice detail on the rust.
