Leica M Monochrom Update

The first batch of Leica M Monochrom cameras has arrived in the USA, but to whom they have been delivered is a mystery.

Unfortunately, both my sources are dry and so I do not have an MM to test and I don’t know when I will get one to test. And I hesitated just a bit too long to hit the Rent button, so that’s not an option either, at least not for a while.

Which is a pity, since I’m heading to the mountains ~22 September and was hoping to do a lot of work with it then on both landscape and some mining structures.

When I can get a Leica M Monochrom, I will be covering it in detail in my Guide to Leica.
