Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II vs Canon 50/1.2L, 50/1.4, 50/1.8 II

Continuing my review of the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II, I present a controlled test of the 24-70/2.8L II at 50mm versus the venerable Canon 50/1.2L, 50/1.4, 50/1.8 II (reproduction ratio of about 1:13, a tight head and shoulders portrait). Using the Canon 5D Mark III.

Wow— I am impressed with two of these four lenses.

Canon shooters will want to see the results with the three 50mm Canon primes even if having no interest in the 24-70.
