A Yen ¥ For Gear
Setting aside the unprecedented ballooning of the money supply* over here in this country (the one that invented modern currency manipulation), now comes the first blatantly obvious salvo via the JCB in the competing currency wars (likely to intensify)—with the result that the Japanese Yen ¥ has plunged yet again relative to the US dollar.
What does the plunge in the Yen mean for pricing of Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic camera gear?
Continued downside movement in the value of the Japanese yen could be interesting.
* inflation is an expansion of the money supply, usually but not always leading to a rise in prices.
