Really Right Stuff BXE1 Grip and L Plate Set for Fujifilm X-E1

The Really Right Stuff BXE1 Set adds a bottom and left-side dovetail for tripod mounting along with a very nice grip; the grip and the left dovetail can be added or removed with an allen wrench.
The base plate alone can be used, or base plate + grip or base plate + left “L” or all three together as shown below.
The Really Right Stuff plates are my choice for all my cameras: durable, well designed, perfect fit and they allow me to use any camera with my tripod setup with ease.

I couldn't agree more with the RRS plate for the X-E1. I was hesitant when I ordered it from RRS that I was going to like it. In this case though I needed a grip for a backpacking trip my daughter and I are going on next week and I wanted to try it out and see if it would work. It does very well for the X-E1 since for my hands it is already a small camera. It makes the whole package seem more solid and less compact. I just got my 55-200 and it also helps balance this lens out much better.
DIGLLOYD: a good grip is a lovely thing. However, I would prefer ballistic plastic for the grip portion for cold weather conditions with bare hands or hot sun heating it up. Might not be as durable of course, but it is replaceable.
