Compared: Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8 Planar vs Fujinon XF 35mm f/1.4 and 18-55/2.8-4 (X-E1, Ellery Lake Green House)

Added to Guide to Mirrorless is a three-way comparison of the Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.4 Distagon to the Fujifilm Fujinon 18-55mm f/2.8-4 at 32mm and to the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35mm f/1.4.

This comparison shows just how damaging the Fujifilm X-E1 focus creep issue can be. It is a behavior now independently confirmed by an unimpeachable expert source. After years of efforts with cameras and lenses I have a keen eye for errant behavior. But I don’t jump to conclusions: I observe, analyze, confirm. No doubt remains on this issue.
