Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and Samyang 24mm f/1.4 on Sony A7

With the dearth of wide angles for the Sony A7/A7R, how do the inexpensive Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and 24mm f/1.4 perform? Samyang offers E-mount versions of these lenses and others for Sony. Some Samyang lenses are APS-C, but many cover full frame.

Field shooting today on the Sony A7 was successful, results to follow soon in Guide to Mirrorless. The Sony A7 has “only” 24 megapixels, but the EVF is sure nice in the field, and its freedom from shutter vibration makes it a reliable tool (use the wireless remote to avoid disturbing the camera).
