This series looks evaluates primary longitudinal chromatic aberration, secondary longitudinal chromatic aberration, sharpness and contrast across the frame, bokeh including the uniformity of background rendition.

The 85/1.4L IS is a strong performer, but it has one weakness. In my review of the Canon 85mm f/1.4L IS:

Is the world all Sony now?

I’m trying to understand if anyone cares about this wonderful new lens or the spectactular Canon 135mm f/4 TS-E—the best tilt-shift lens I’ve ever seen, easily.

No feedback so far, so maybe I should invest not much more effort in either.
