Hasselblad X1D File Sizes
The Hasselblad X1D does not compress its 3FR raw files.
With resolution of 8272 X 6200 (51.3 megapixels) and with 16-bit (2 bytes) per photosites, the minimum space required for the raw data (exclusive of embedded JPEG and EXIF info, etc) would be 102.6MB. As shown, the files take 100.4 MB, so that there is about 8MB of overhead, most of which is presumably an embedded JPEG.
The lack of lossless compression is a downside when shooting and for storage. Though not a deal-killer by any means, Nikon can Canon typically achieve 35% or so savings, so the files could in theory be more like 72 megabytes each. The Fujifilm GFX offers lossless compression on its 14-bit files, so these can be expected to be closer to 31 MB—about half the size.
