MTF for Hasselblad XCD 135mm f/2.8
MTF (calculated*, not measured) is shown below at f/2.8 and f/5.6 and also at f/4.8 and f/8 with the 1.7X teleconverter.
Performance is outstanding at f/2.8, but stopping down to f/5.6 flattens the sharpness curve across the frame for somewhat better performance in the outer zones. Probably there is some focus shift in the mid and outer zones also.
Images taken at f/2.8 should be gorgeous, but be sure to focus on the item of key interest, as this is some mild field curvature at play.
