Aperture Series: Night Scene
This night scene is partly about lens performance, and partly about sensor performance. Moiré and sunstars behavior are also discussed.
Night photography demands a lot from a camera (total sensor and imaging chain). In particular, its ability to make clean detail in dark areas is very important during raw conversion or post processing. These images required aggressive contrast control for shadows and highlights, something possible only with a very high quality raw image.
