Usability: Buttons, Menus, More

The ergonomics of gripping the camera, the spacious and beautiful viewfinder and its diopter adjustment are very nice, but when you start using the camera, operational details emerge which are not so favorable.

The S2 looks like a DSLR, and it is DSLR. But menu and button ergonomics are stuck in medium format purgatory.

I am very familiar with Nikon and Canon DSLRs, and so I consciously made an effort to allow for “different” as compared to “inferior”. I’m not going to criticized “different” here, only the issues that in my direct usage resulted in inferior operational handling.

Usability — Autofocus

Version 1.0.0.16 of the firmware did not fix the backfocus issues.
