Main: overview, ergonomics, noise, infrared,

The Mamiya DL28 consists of the newest camera body in Mamiya’s 645 line, the AFD III, along with the Leaf Aptus-II 6 digital medium format back, and the new Mamiya Sekor AF 80mm f/2.8D, not to be confused with its predecessor AF 80mm f/2.8.

Sensor size and photosite size

The Leaf Aptus-II 6 digital back offers 28 megapixels in a 44 X 33mm sensor, which is 68% larger in area than a full-frame 36 X 24mm DSLR sensor. However, pixels (photosites) are only 31% larger in area than the 21MP Canon 1Ds Mark III, due to the 28 megapixels crammed into the sensor.
