The Nikon Z8 applied long exposure noise reduction. The crappy Nikon Z8 RGB histogram repeatedly fools me into underexposure—here 2.5 stops too dark eg effective ISO 560. The issue: I cannot discern whether the blue channel is blown-out entirely or not; I see a single full-height blue spike at the end that looks like blowout, but it's not—bad visuals and I never have this issue on Sony. Super annoying. But as it turns out, a 1-second exposure at f/2 proved useful for the clouds.
