Color camera with infrared conversion — Canon EOS 5D

A color camera has its infrared-blocking filter removed, and a visible-light-blocking filter installed to allow only infrared to pass. The camera remains a color camera with its Bayer Matrix intact, but that color filtration on each photosite is largely transparent to infrared.
