Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 macro
So far, little experience using this lens in infrared. A versatile lens, it’s an excellent choice for overall shooting, and for infrared.
Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 macro hot spots
Hot spots are better than the 50mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.8 II, and perhaps even better than the 50mm f/1.2L, but still are a concern by f/8.
Canon 50mm f/2.5 macro backfocus
Backfocus is minor. Still, it’s a 2+ stop improvement to focus through the B+W 092.
