Digital Noise with Fuji F30, F50, S6000

Fuji F30-IR

Of much less concern than noise with the Fuji F30 is its lack of a RAW file, and its overly-aggressive JPEG compression (even set at maximum quality), which results in obvious blotchy rendering of smooth areas. If only Fuji were to offer RAW in the F30 as it does in the S6000, it would be capable of much higher quality images—what a shame.
