I’ve learned a lot about digital infrared photography, being one of the pioneers of digital infrared. All of the useful stuff was learned by trial and error, with attendant frustration and disappointments. I decided to share what I’ve learned, and the result is this Guide.

Digital infrared is still a niche area by comparison to color photography, but its adoption is growing rapidly now that so many digital cameras can be easily converted for infrared use. The results are worth it for any photographer who appreciates the distinct look it can produce, literally offering a new view of the world. Without a doubt, digital infrared will be, and probably already is, more popular than infrared film ever was.
